How your document is handled
Deleted after delivery. The fax-ready PDF is removed from our servers as soon as the receiving machine confirms it. A failed fax keeps it for 24 hours so you can retry; nothing lives longer than 7 days.
Every page is stamped. Date, time, your name and the sending number appear in the header of each page, as US fax law requires.
Card details never touch us. Payment runs inside Stripe’s secure form; we keep no card numbers.
Not for protected health information. TitusFax offers no Business Associate Agreement on guest sends. Unsolicited advertisements are illegal and against our terms.

- Do I need an account?
- No. Enter an email for the confirmation and pay by card. Create a free account if you want your fax history in one place.
- Do I need a fax machine or a phone line?
- No. TitusFax dials the recipient's fax machine for you over the internet. All you need is the document and the fax number.
- Can I send a fax from my phone?
- Yes. TitusFax works in your phone's browser, with nothing to install. Scan the pages with your phone's built-in document scanner, then upload the PDF here.
- When is my card charged?
- Only when the receiving fax machine confirms delivery. A fax that does not go through costs nothing — and you can retry it without paying twice.
- Where can I fax to?
- Any fax number in the United States or Canada. International destinations are coming later.
- What happens to my document?
- It is converted to a fax-ready PDF on our own servers (Word documents included — the original file is not kept), sent, and deleted as soon as delivery is confirmed (or within 24 hours if the fax fails, so you can retry). Nothing is kept longer than 7 days.
- Can I receive faxes?
- Yes — plans that include an inbound fax number give you a number of your own. Faxes sent to it appear in your dashboard, where you can preview and download them, and the account owners get an email. Received faxes are kept for 90 days by default (you can choose 30 days or a year).
- Can I use my own cover page?
- Yes. Pick our standard cover, upload your own (a PDF, Word document or image — the first page is used), or save your letterhead once and it is offered on every fax.
- What if I use more pages than my plan includes?
- Nothing stops. Pages beyond the allowance are simply charged at the per-page rate, only on delivery.
